Visitors' privacy
What is recorded when you open this content, why, for how long, and how you can delete it.
Who is responsible
The content is offered by Aristoqle, which decides why and how data is processed (the controller). The Aristoqle platform is run by Smak kolektiv d.o.o., which processes data only on that institution's behalf and on its instructions (the processor).
Playing without signing in (a QR code on an exhibit, a trail, in a book)
You need no account and we do not ask your name. Nothing about you is recorded.
The only thing counted is how many times an activity was opened and how many times it was played to the end, per day and per language. These are totals with no link to a person or a device.
Playing with a nickname (the portal with points)
If you enter with a nickname, this is recorded:
- the nickname you choose. Do not use your real full name.
- a password, only if you choose "Save progress", and only as an irreversible cryptographic record; nobody can read the password itself,
- the avatar you choose,
- which activities you opened and when, your points, the ratings you give to games, and the team a group leader puts you in during group play.
We do not ask for an e-mail address, a home address, a date of birth or your location. The purpose is scoring, the ranking inside your group, and an overview of use for the institution. The institution's staff can see nicknames and results.
Cookies
- Sign-in (only if you enter with a nickname): remembers who is playing on this device, for up to a year or until you sign out. Without saved progress (a password), a nickname cannot be picked up again after signing out.
- Language (if you pick a language yourself or the link names one, e.g. a QR code): remembers the language, for up to a year.
- Form security: a technical cookie that protects the sending of results; it disappears when you close the browser.
There are no advertising or analytics cookies and no tracking across sites.
Your IP address and other parties
The server writes a shortened IP address (without its last part) into its visit logs, so an entry cannot be linked to you. A full address may be noted briefly only when a technical error or an attempted misuse occurs; those records are cleared regularly.
Artificial intelligence
Part of the content was made with the help of AI: content from the creation tool, which the institution reviewed and approved before publication, pictures made by AI, and translations into other languages, which AI makes too. All of it is labelled under the game. No data about visitors is sent to the AI provider.
Reporting content
Under every game there is a "Report content" link. A report goes to the platform (Smak kolektiv d.o.o.), not to the institution. We do not ask for your name or e-mail address. The only thing stored with a report is a value computed from your network with a secret key, from which the address cannot be read, so that one network can report the same unit at most once a day. A report is deleted 180 days after it was handled.
For how long
An account that is not used for 12 months is deleted automatically, together with everything recorded under it. The totals about play without sign-in contain no personal data and are kept.
Your rights
You can delete your account yourself, here, while you are signed in. You can also ask the institution for access to your data, for a correction or for deletion, and you can object to the processing. If you believe your data is not handled properly, you can turn to the data protection authority of your country.
Are you under 16? Show this page to a parent, a teacher or your group leader. They can ask for deletion on your behalf.
